  • I really enjoyed hearing about the stop-motion animation craft and industry, especially the links to ceramics, metal working and other applied arts skills, for the creation of the armatures, puppets, props and costumes.

  • The amount of detail that goes into creating these films is astounding, and maintaining the stop motion animation 'feel' is a key aspect of the art, with Georgina Haynes talking about the fact that they got 'too good' at one point, leading to her stepping backwards and excluding some of the new technologies.
